Getting started with water soluble oils

If you have always wondered what it would be like to paint in oils, but were a little hesitant in making a start on your own, then this is the course for you. Over the 4 weeks you will learn all about the materials used by oil painters, ways to move the paint with both brush, cloth and palette knife and begin to make your first paintings.

Water soluble oils are paints that can be diluted with water, which gets rid of the need to use smelly solvents like turpentine or white spirit, which are used with traditional oils. Water soluble oils dry at the same speed as traditional oils. They do not dry quickly like acrylics, giving you plenty of time to make beautifully blended colours

Oil paints and brushes are provided on this course so that you can try the medium out before you buy any new art materials.
